THE FABRIC

This set is made from batik fabric and from ikat fabric.

Batik a hand-waxed, hand-dyed textile tradition with roots across West Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Caribbean. Ikat fabric — the same ancient textile tradition practiced in West Africa, Central America, and Southeast Asia — cut into a structured three-piece power suit.

The multi-stripe, multi-color patchwork quality of this piece is not printed — it is woven. Each section of fabric was made by hand.

Fabrics are handmade and sourced globally. Variations in color, texture, and pattern from the photo are expected
and celebrated — no two pieces are identical.
