THE FABRIC

Jute is one of the most sustainable natural fibers
on earth. It has been cultivated in South Asia —
primarily Bangladesh and India — for over 5,000 years.
It is biodegradable, low water use, and carbon negative
in production. UGHC uses natural jute and jute-blend
fabrics as a conscious choice: this is a material
with a 5,000-year history, not a trend.

The natural caramel / warm sand tone in this set
comes directly from the jute fiber itself —
undyed, or minimally processed to retain its
natural earthiness.

Fabrics are handmade and globally sourced.
Variations in tone and texture from the photo
are part of the nature of natural fiber textiles.
